ROCKY!! ROCKY!!

Hey!

ROCKY BALBOA wasn't that bad!!
It was kinda good!

Twas' patterned after the original Rocky.
Lots of 70's type touchin' drama..
Topped off with a mean fight in the end.

I liked that part where Rocky was teachin' his son some hard life lessons:

Especially this quote:
(Ya gotta say it with the Rocky accent. YO ROCK!!)

"Let me tell you something you already know.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.

It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there
permanently if you let it.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

But it ain't how hard you hit;

it's about how hard you can get hit,
and keep moving forward.

How much you can take,
and keep moving forward.

That's how winning is done.

Now, if you know what you're worth,
then go out and get what you're worth.

But you gotta be willing to take the hit,
and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody.

Cowards do that and that ain't you.

You're better than that!"

Anyone got that Rocky 4 DVD?
That was me fave Rocky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does this actually work??

ICE CREAM IN A BAG

Milk can become ice cream in five minutes! This homemade ice cream in a bag is a summertime delight for kids and adults alike.
What you'll need:

* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1/2 cup milk or half & half
* 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
* 6 tablespoons rock salt
* 1 pint-size Ziploc plastic bag
* 1 gallon-size Ziploc plastic bag
* Ice cubes

How to make it:

1. Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.
2. Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.
3. Place the small bag inside the large one and seal again carefully.
4. Shake until mixture is ice cream, about 5 minutes.
5. Wipe off top of small bag, then open carefully and enjoy!

Tips:

To make a larger amount, try doubling the recipe. Anything larger might be too big for kids to pick-up, because the ice itself is quite heavy.
