Winner is a participant in the Charity Fraud Awareness Quiz as part of Fraud Prevention Month

TORONTO, April 20 /CNW/ - Capital One Canada and CanadaHelps are pleased to announce that Carla Cui is the $20,000 grand prize winner of the 2010 Charity Fraud Awareness Quiz. Courtesy of Capital One, Carla is donating her winnings to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in honour of her mother, Corazon Rivera Cui, who she tragically lost to breast cancer over ten years ago.

"I am so happy to have won this donation - thank you to Capital One and CanadaHelps from the bottom of my heart," said Carla Cui. "Till the very end, my Mom and my family hoped that there would be a cure, not only for her, but for everyone that has or had it. We were living in BC at that time and I remember the BC Cancer Agency had a goal of finding a cure by the year 2000...sadly to this day, there isn't one yet."

HAPPY 10th Wedding ANNIV HON!!!

I took the day off last Jan 6 to celebrate our 10th -- YEP!! 10th! Weddin Anni with my lovely Wifey.
We spent the morning with a "romantic" visit to the Paranaque City Hall to pay our Realty Tax.
Perfect place for a date.
Hahahahaha.

And then we moseyed down to SM MOA to finally watch AVATAR in 3d and IMAX!!!.


We had a quick lunch at Unit 8 Cafe before heading out.
They have a kick-ass delicious burger there!


WOW.
OMG.
(Insert more superlatives here)

We absolutely loved AVATAAAAAAAAAAAAR.
Didn't want it to end.

Finally! A movie where you can cheer Aliens killing humans!



Speaking of Aliens -- what alien movie wouldn't be complete without our beloved all-time resident ALIEN Movie Mother - Sigourney Weaver.

How many ALIENS has SHE killed?

Fortunately now -- she's the one trying to save em.

The Col. guy played by Stephen Lang was a real kick-ass bad guy. Complete with the requisite scars and stuff. And very hard to kill too.


The world of Avatar is so beautiful. Especially in 3D and IMAX. It opens up right before eyes. Kulang nalang you can smell and touch. I guess that's the next thing. 4D Movies.


The Holodeck can't be far away now.



They had the standard Independence Day/ Braveheart Speech during the movie of course. Considering that this IS a "Freedom" type flick. But it paled in comparison to the others.



What I found funny though were the tails of the Na'Vi and how they connected to the Eyra via the Tree Of Souls.

It reminded me too much of a LAN Cable plugging into an Ethernet Port to access the Web or in this case The World Wide Eyra.
Didn't they have a WIFI /Wireless connection?

I mean pluggin in is so passe'!
Hehehehe.

Anyways , the movie is so worth the Php400 per person you pay to get in.
GO FOR IT!!!!
You have to experience it in 3D and IMAX.
Then go buy the DVD for the repeats.


We headed home after Avatar and had a nice dinner at the super sarap HAP CHAN TEAHOUSE near South Supermarket.
